Sunday 15th October 2023
Starting from our hotel, we climbed for about five miles, crossing Kendal Fell and Cunswick Scar to reach the viewpoint on Scout Scar. The effort was rewarded with panoramic views of the Lake District and Morecambe Bay, and we could even spot Blackpool Tower. From Scout Scar's summit, it was all downhill to our second viewpoint at St. John's Church in Helsington. After some exploration, we followed the River Kent, walking along its banks back to our hotel, enjoying the fine weather throughout our journey.
