Our first walk during our Ilfracombe holiday began splendidly as the coach dropped us off close to our starting point under sunny skies. The sun shone for the first half of our journey as we walked the South West Coastal Path towards Lee, where we were treated to spectacular views of the cliffs and rock formations. The path presented a bit of a challenge, with its steep climbs and descents, interspersed with steps, winding trails, and rocky patches. As we neared Lee, the rain began and persisted until we returned to our hotel. The ascent from Lee was arduous and seemingly endless, yet we ultimately reached the peak and made our way down into Ilfracombe.
